Hello big mouth..

Landed myself a good sized grouper during

our luring session this evening.. Trying to target

some 'Barra' at first but the water temperature

today is just not right for the mighty barra to bite

my plastics.. :)

Definitely wrong species and wrong size again..

But its alright...at least these fishes put a little

bit of bend to my rod... :)

Last night we went to try out our newly spot to see

if the barra there will still bite on the neap tide..

Yes they do!! Total number of 3 barra landed by

me and Rudy..

My first barra was landed on deep diving minnow

while i'am doing some knocking on the grouper's

door... :)

Yesterday's luring session was awesome. Me, Apy and one

of our newbie gang member Rudy, went for a recce trip in search

for barra infested water.. When we reached the spot 'X',

i landed 3 barra within 15mins.. As the tide is getting lower,

my newbie friend also landed a nice size too as Apy only got

3 hit but zero landed.. hehehe...

Total of 6 hits 4 landed on our new barra spot, not bad!!

Resident Barra..

Last night i was invited by my colleague to fish at a

restricted zone somewhere in singapore to try my

luck and wet my lure there, after heard too many

stories about that place that makes me itching

the whole body. :) Reached the spot at 12mn and

i started casting soon after that. 15mins later,

boomz! Good hard fight........

Landed myself a nice 14lbs barramundi..

But just when the tide is getting better, i just

lost my concentration to fish coz i'am just too too

tired and damn sleepy....so sad...

Anyway, its a good spot and worth to come back

again...

17th Oct 2010 me and Apy went to Sungai Kongkong to wet our

lures there and we were welcomed by our new friendly angler

friend Shahril, who lives there..

Had a great time there and definitely will team up

and come back again soon in search of our target

fish..

The first thing to do is to drop by a provision

shop to buy plenty of bottle drinks and some

redbull.. Oh ya, and super glue too for my

broken slipper that morning!! :)

that trip coz we're still learning more about the

place and their fishes feeding habit.. Will come

back again soon for the return of our target fish.

Return of the barra..

Meet up with Apy at 8pm to catch the outgoing tide for some Kim action..

On Apy's first cast, something hitted his lure hard and took some line but

didn't managed to set the treble.. Awesome though, its only his first cast!

So i come close to him and cast to the same direction......

Seconds later, BOOM!!! Got myself a strong take, fish on!

Catfish... No wonder.... zzzzz.... :)

As the tide is moving down slowly, the surface is busy with

crazy baitfishes jumping around.. *must be some Kim frenzy

underneath.. Just the right species we're targeting.. So i

changed to my favourite lure and keep on casting passionately..

On my third cast, BOOM!!! A nice 7lbs Kim..

his first smallest barra there then followed by me..
